Finding the pain but missing the cure!!!

This weekend was CRAZY. I am constantly learning new things about myself and my journey. Constantly reminded of how far I have come and how much further I have to go……

Self-reflection is a very difficult thing to do. It requires oneself to assess flaws and when we know of the flaw we have to do something about it. That is the hardest part. The doing something about it. What do you do to self reflect and how do you overcome those flaws?

The search for stability….is it marriage?

The search for stability is one that we all embark on all the time. Until recently I thought this was what we are supposed to do. However, recent events have lead me to believe that all are training and teaching prepares us to, in the words of John-Logan Coots, “get comfortable being uncomfortable.” Stability exists only in our ability to be comfortable with the lack of it.

Uncomfortable in my own skin

Just a few thoughts that came about over the weekend spawned on by a few people who asked me the same question…….I am uncomfortable where I am at and not being content feels like an itchy rash on my skin!

Eliminate Regret from your Vocabulary!

Do you have regrets? You should never regret anything. It should be a word that is eliminated from your vocab. Learn don’t regret!

Cat Drool is Yucky!!!!

It was the night of the cat. The cat definitely won this battle but I believe the war is not over. Who knew a cat would teach me a lesson. This cat was not in a hat but came to life like Garfield…….what happened that night I had to share…….

Fatherly Struggles

I have spent my lifetime seeking the approval from my dad and being rejected time and again. I simply wanted him to say he loves me and believes in me. I cant help but compare this desire to the desire that Jesus has for us to know him. I want my Dad to know me as Jesus wants us to know and seek him…….I have confused my dad for my Father…..They are in fact different.

Internal Gratitude
