The voices are speaking to me again and they are intense. They will not stop talking about that big meeting next week. You know the one that I botched last year. They remind me of the failure and show me the promise of what can be should I not fail at the next one. They are the voices that are focused on the past and the anticipation of the future, the voices that distract me from now.

Harvey Dent is the fictional character from Batman. He was the cities finest District Attorney until the day of the accident. He was the picture of perfect to the people. He stood up for the people, protected the people and never put himself above the people. He was part of the crowd fighting to do what was right. In his pursuit of protection there was freak explosion and half of Harvey Dent’s face was destroyed. From that day forth he was known as two-face……………………

One year ago was one of the worst days of my life. I was certain that I would allow the memory of that day impact this day for me. It did not. I did not let it as the past is not the present!

Self Sabotage is fear winning. Often we sabotage what could be triumphant success because we are scared. In ROCKY 3 there is a seen where Rocky admits he is scared. Adrian knocks him into shape and he goes on to train harder than ever. Can we be our own Adrian……..?

Which duck are you? I am at the park and the ducks are all about. They are eager to get a little of the bread and the food that we have for them. They are waiting anxiously for the treat. All day they have been doing work waiting for the reward and now it is here.

Have you ever wanted someone to believe in you so bad you lost sight of those that already did. Are you discouraged and feel that nobody believes in you? If so you need to know that someone believes in you!

Yesterday I had a rough evening. I began to make poor choices and I was feeling as though I was headed in the wrong direction. Fortunately I fell asleep and as I reflect this morning I realize it was a small detour amongst the detour. I had allowed myself to fall victim to the Detrimental Dialogue………

The cloud is dark and it is right on our heels. We are running but we feel as though we are starting to get sucked in. We are stuck in Mental mind purgatory. The feeling of vacillating between the two worlds. Where is the light and can we get there?
