It is time for a New Years Resolution. Do you have yours already? I did not. That was until this morning when I was asked to give it a little thought. So here is my New Years Resolution……..

I tried to spell the word alone out of the letters from lonely. It does not work. I realize that there is no alone in lonely. We can be lonely but we are never alone.

The voices are speaking to me again and they are intense. They will not stop talking about that big meeting next week. You know the one that I botched last year. They remind me of the failure and show me the promise of what can be should I not fail at the next one. They are the voices that are focused on the past and the anticipation of the future, the voices that distract me from now.

Have you ever been broken up with, told that you lost a client or delivered bad news via text or email? I’m, sure you have as it seems to be a growing disease that we the people are imploring. No more face to respect?

Marianne Williamson has a quote that I think rings so true. It is about the light within each of us that cries to be unleashed. It is a summary of our fear of greatness. The sad part is when we hold the light in we are holding others lights in as well…..

The shaggy coat of a wet dog is hard to shake dry while the wet coat of a furless dog shakes dry with ease. How can we remain furless and shake off the wetness with ease over and over again without letting the weight of the water hold us down?

Self Sabotage is fear winning. Often we sabotage what could be triumphant success because we are scared. In ROCKY 3 there is a seen where Rocky admits he is scared. Adrian knocks him into shape and he goes on to train harder than ever. Can we be our own Adrian……..?

How you ever felt like you are good at stuff but are never great? Have you felt as though you get close to the Pinnacle but never quite get to the top? Is it ok to be good but never great at anything?

Which duck are you? I am at the park and the ducks are all about. They are eager to get a little of the bread and the food that we have for them. They are waiting anxiously for the treat. All day they have been doing work waiting for the reward and now it is here.
