Cat Drool is Yucky!!!!

It was the calm of the night and I was sitting  in complete silence and relaxation. The cat, an extraordinarily large cat named Mika, was accompanying us as we sat there. She was being rubbed and was purring so loud and enjoying every last moment. It was as if she was in heaven. She was smiling kinda a cat like smile and was rubbing her head against the palm with every stoke. I closed my eyes for a moment and enjoyed the silence. That is when it all happened!

For some reason unknown to man I decided that I would open my eyes and look up to see what was going on. As I did this the most Yucky, disgusting inexplicably beautiful and annoying thing occurred. I opened my eyes to see what looked like a dew drop in the still of the morning hanging from the cat like smile. It was wobbling to and fro and bouncing up and down. The whole thing was going down in slow motion. It was crystal like and shining and was angelic in being but I knew that this magical moment must have a horrible ending. It was too good to be true. I started to move as I just felt deep down inside it was about to happen. The problem is my cat like reflexes are not faster than a CATS reflexes. She moved her head to the side and the drool released from the lip. I watched it as it was gliding through the air. I knew that I did not have time to get out of the way. This was it I was going to be slimed by a cat that was experiencing complete ecstasy. I jerked to the side but not before the drool hit me smack in the face. The only solace I could take was the fact that it did not go in my mouth. It literally transferred from the corner of her mouth to the corner of mine.

The next few moments were a blur. I swiped my face half laughhing at myself and half angry at the cat. I pished the cat (GENTLY) as I cursed it under my breath. It was time for the cat to go. The party was over. The experience had ended. I learned from the whole thing that CAT DROOL IS YUCKY!!!!!!!!

There was another lesson from the nightmare. There are moments is our life that are absolutely peaceful. These are the moments we have to embrace. They can last a second or may last days. The reason that I was able to observe the detail of that situation was I was only focused on that point of time. There was nothing else going on in my head. It was pure awesomeness. I would suggest that as we fly through life take the time to be still. Take the time to learn that CAT DROOL is straight Yucky yet it serves it’s purpose………………..
